This is meant to be a parody, written in a style like The Princess Bride or Get Smart - a legitimate story, but certainly not taking itself seriously.
As for the character names...well, I picked a romanization that made sense and stuck with it. Please don't poke me about Japanese terms...I write the way I think, sans most of the random words in other laguages that seem to crop up. The horror...
And I named Mach way, way before Fuzors. This thing has no Fuzors influence whatsoever, if anyone's wondering.
I'd like to hear what you liked/didn't like and why...I won't bug you to review, but I won't bite your head off if you give me constructive criticism, either. Heck, knowing that you even read it would be nice, even if you just say 'that was stupid'.
Yes, I *know* Ballad's Command Wolf went boom. For part of this chapter, his Command Wolf makes an amazing recovery from beyond the grave *cue spooky music*, and the Shadow Fox disappears somewhere into the depths of Bad Continuity Land. Don't worry, the Shadow Fox is fine. It enjoyed a nice vacation there.

Yes, the Liger Zero has laser fangs. And Shield/Blade Ligers have laser sabers. Where both went in the anime, I don't know, but at least one of them is here now.
And so the end begins. This thing's been a lot of fun (and a drain on my sanity and sleep) to write, I hope it was at least some fun to read. A huge amount of thanks goes to everyone who's helped me somehow, be it as minor as commenting on it (feedback gooood) or as major as inspiring a plot thread. I couldn't possibly name everybody...I know I'd forget someone, and that'd be no good. So thanks to everyone. Yay.
Also, for those who find that sort of thing interesting, you can probably see my writing style change a bit over the course of the story, since it's taken me since early this year to write. And to think it all started on a random idea that screamed 'write me'...
This was also the first remotely not-crap fic I wrote, and it was fun. There's a lot to be said for that. Shineryuu also made an interesting character punted over to MMM, where she's actually had a chance to do serious things and be something other than a joke. Mach's not too happy about becoming human, however.
