The Empire army...is defeated!?
T-Type Mecha Sallies Forth
What was the T-type mecha caught on the special radar of Gorem, the Empire army's trump-card 24 mecha, as it drew near the Republic army's secret base? The answer came earlier than the Zenebas Emperor had predicted.
It was a T-type (Triceratops-type) mecha of the Repulic's advance guard, Mad Thunder, which came counterattacking from the Zoid central mountain range like an avalanche. Two rotating drills are equipped on the head of its low body, the circumference of its cockpit is defended by a thick shield, and many weapons lend offensive abilities to its entire frame. It was surely a super-giant mecha designed to destory everything.
Two Great Rivals Clash
Assaulting with ferocious speed, Mad Thunder was surely becoming the "thunder of rage". After it charged like a flash, the horrible wreckage of Empire army mecha simply tumbled to the battlefield. Its two drills destroyed mecha in a single blow. It was almost uncecessary to use its weapons. This was surely a power that couldn't be matched.
But Death Saurer was an exception.
The clash of these two great rivals began near an Empire army base on the Oberia Plain. Death Saurer firmly caught Mad Thunder's rush. They were locked into a fight, both rivals at odds and unable to move. It was Death Saurer who attacked first. Its certain-kill weapon, the charged particle cannon, blazed, the blue-and-white beam striking Mad Thunder. But the anti-charged particle shield equipped in its frill repelled it entirely-

-and conversely, Mad Thunder lowered its drills to toss Death Saurer, aiming at its belly. It was at a disadvantage in close combat...by the time the Death Saurer's pilot felt the drills' power and judged it higher than expected, it was too late.The drills tore through Death Saurer's armor, stabbed into its interior, gouged out the core, and completely destroyed its function. In a moment, Death Saurer fell still. Its deep red mouth opened wide, a sorrowful scream resounding across the battlefield. This was Death Saurer's final hour. The Empire army that saw began to slowly withdraw...and so, they were finally defeated.
The Zenebas Emperor's Decision
"Death Saurer has fallen!" "The Empire army begins retreat!"The reports coming in one after the other clouded the Zenebas Emperor's face. Standing at the ramparts of the empire castle, he gazed at the clouds of dust rising in the distant battlefields.
"Already, I have grown too old. I do not have the energy to fight the Republic army again," the Emperor muttered. At that time, no one knew the demonic decision being made in his mind. "Until now I've been fighting to drive out my older brother, that Helic, from this continent. Now, when that has failed to happen, I cannot let it pass into anyone else's hands."
The Emperor sent one secret messenger. His destination...was the "Dark Continent". The Emperor had decided to join forces with the Dark Continent.
What does the Emperor mean by "I cannot let this continent pass into anyone else's hands?" And what role will the Dark Continent play?
The Zoidians of the Zoid continent do not know anything, but still something is starting to happen.
