Holotech Shield Liger

Hrm, gee. Tilly's favorite cat Zoid in translucent blue. I wonder if she would want that?

Of course, Holo Shield Liger here showed up as the Hasbro line was going splat...so it didn't see much distribution, other than to some spots in Canada, which is where I got mine from. Thanks to the person who got it for me-you know who you are, heh.

Despite being pictured in two color schemes on Hasbro's site (one with red legs, one with charcoal), Holo Liger appears to have only shown up in the charcoal-y variety. Perhaps the other was a prototype...and yet, it's shown on some Blox packages...go figure.< p> Only two sprues are translucent-the one that makes up the majority of the legs is charcoal, and the blue bits are blue-not the same blue, mind you, but a much more turquoise shade-one with green in it. That's it, but it's enough to look cool, especially along with the already slightly translucent motor.

Holo Liger goes together smoothly, although I found the translucent bits as tricky to trim as with Holo Kitty. The guns on mine's back also like to fall off, but other than that, it's solid. I can't think of much else to say about building it.

Together, this thing looks really, really cool. In low light, it's not that impressive...but let a little sunlight shine through it and bam! I've always thought Shield Liger has cool engineering behind it-you can see it more clearly here. Ah, for a Holotech Salamander...

Enough already...I'll just let the pictures do the talking.
