10 Reasons why jumping on your opponents' back is bad, as composed by Jayiin

Jumping on another zoids back does several things, none of them good:

  1. Sometimes, there are spines, spikes, armor plates, other spikey, pointy bits there that hurt.
  2. Jumping at something inspires an attack of opportunity. Your ass is hanging in the air to get shot, smacked, stabbed, knocked outta the air (avi, requires Xvid), and otherwise violently molested.
  3. Zoid backs are not often wide expanses of territory to stand on. There is not often room for a zoid to stand.
  4. Most zoid guns do not point down. Most of them point at an angle, at best. This means you will be shooting the ground, the ass, or - the cockpit. Which is, as we all know, a DQ.
  5. Even laser claws aren't going to CSF a zoid by jumping on its back, because this is not anime. It takes more damage than it does in anime.
  6. If you miss, you might not land well. You'll end up landing badly, falling over, getting shot, stomped, stabbed or otherwise violently molested.
  7. You become a nice, big target in a team battle. Hard to miss.
  8. This is a precise thing you want to do. Other things are moving. This really only works when the other person is standing still.
  9. It's a good way to get 1-round CSF'd.
  10. The judge will mock you.
