My Collection

So, you want to see all my Zoids together, or chronicle my obsession's slow taking over of all available shelf space in my room? Here's some pics of the lot of them. For old pics, check out the 2004 page.

January 2006

After a cleaning of my room and freeing of more critters, my collection was actually SOMEWHAT ORGANIZED. So I took a lot of pics...

The top shelf has a lot of pretty colors. This includes Krark, who is plotting things with Leoblaze, the angsty Zunder (who loses his head a lot), and his army of minis, unaware that two eternal rivals under his command would rather be fighting to the death. Gul Tiger is still eating pilots, and Geno Hydra is still weird-looking.

The next shelf down still has a lot of Ligers, though now with extra Team Blitz fun. (don't ask about the Zeekdober and Command Wolf Irvine, okay?) The obscure cats plot...something. And wish they had a Blitz Tiger instead of Descat, but you can't win them all...

The OJR DOOM shelf's DOOM is slightly compromised by Saberlion being evil, as well as a Shield Liger mini swarm with extra Command Wolf. Shadow Fox claims he has a right to be there as his chrome spinny gun matches Gunbluster.

The Zenebas-y shelf is out of focus. Still, the ever-suffering Emperor has aquired another fan, and Great Sabre has a new Shieldy minion who wants very much to be Zenebas-y but can't quite cut it other than the red. The biting cat, as Rick dubbed it, is still bitey.

The bottom shelf is a lot neater now, but still very strange in its grouping of Zoids. Someday it will be a stompy shelf.

The dresser, with lots of pretty dinos in purples and reds. And a couple blue things. Ignore them. Glaive Quama stands watch over a recovered HoloRaven (who I'm not letting escape again), most of the mini BFs are nekkid, and Death Saurer combats his lack of CPs by dubbing himself Death Saurer Doctor Who Keychain Custom.

The orange crew still haunts the computer table, now with less clutter.

The other shelves still have their assorted junk on top, but below them we get the Empire KEETY shelf and a shelf of green things...or at least greenish. Earth tones. Yeah.

Gildy is still nesting next to the cabinet and still being reffy...just with some nice black/silver chromey stuff in between.

...Aro Saurer and Gorhecks. The little green Kingliger is of a funky bootleg mini variety. I'm not quite sure of his origins, though I've heard they come in other colors. The Storches are shelf jumpers, which is why one's now on level ground.

The bottom half of the cabinet is now home to the clear Zoids, Mirage, and lots of fun Zoids media. The Doctor Who tapes have been moved to the dresser drawers, where they can be nicely organized when I feel like it. The TV, on the other hand, just has birds on it now.

Bonnie's critters plus Death Stinger hang out on the floor below. The Gustav is mighty. It can pull many things, including Gildragon, Death Saurer, Dark Horn, and a book...at once.

The bookshelves have condensed to a nice combination of blue and gold (and Gator). Gairyuuki is fixing to fire on either the edge of the Zenebas shelf or Battlesaurus' head. I'll say the former, because it sounds cooler. Below them, giant Command Wolf, Coffemaker Liger, and Giga watch over the Doctor Who books. (Yes, I have a baby names book. It's for characters!)

Oh, and there's these guys. See that BuCUE hiding behind Garmmon? That's the extent of my Gundam collection :p.

December 2005

...yes, I copy-pasted and edited this from LiveJournal. I'm a bum, I know.

The shelves, part one. Salamamander variants, some pretty reds and oranges and yellows, and some minis. And stuff. Then some Ligers. Lots of Ligers, in fact. I need a regular Panzer.

The shelves, part 2. OJR DOOM plus minis. The Dark Zoids have since gained a Heldy, making me one Dark Horn and a Guylos pilot short of a proper OJR set (the Horn is TDP, though with a proper pilot filched from Gul Tiger). Saberlion being there is very intentional. Also not pictured, a very nasty very ferocious COSMOZOID. Then there's the ZENEBAS DOOM shelf, which is very Zenebas-y and somewhat doom-y (and stuff). I don't care if Hasbro EL is technically Guylos, Hasbro's faction-blind and it matches Great Sabre so nyah. The Leoblaze is there because he's a Wolff fanboy.

The shelves, part 3. Better shot of the lower shelf and all its gibberish (yay Gordos), plus Death Stinger and Gojulas Giga. I swear, half of the time Death Stinger seems to be staring at Gojulas Giga's rear end. IT'S PERVY I TELL YOU. And yes, that Savinga has the silver blades left over from my BI parts swap stuck on it. It's Extra Pointy.

The dresser, mostly dinos, plus a Command Wolf that wouldn't fit elsewhere. I need to get the rest of my swarm out. That's a regular Raven figure in front of Hologeno, because I lost one of my HoloRavens. ANGST. And yes, Unenlagia has his rifle aimed at Shadow's head. He did it himself! I just helped him a bit by perfecting his aim...

The orange crew, since strengthend by the addition of one panel-lined Gravity Saix. ARMORED GATOR IS KIIIIING. (oh, and there's some manga and CD single covers there too, if you squint.)

The bookshelves, also home to a lot of blue and/or clear Zoids. And Gator, because it and Gairyuuki are best friends...unlike BE, whose cannons it stole right off the sprues. The books below are some favorites of mine, the books above my Doctor Who swarm.

Bonnie's Zoids on the floor, plus some boxes that still have a few Zoids in them. There's Susan the Liger Zero, Dalek the Fire Phoenix...and Fembot the Gravity Ptera. If you have one, you know why.

Gildragon, nesting along with his buddies. That's a Leoshop chrome Redler from a run Ironwing (I believe) had done, not their regular one (that's in England).

Zoids on the TV...what it says on the tin. Poor cannonless BE...don't ask me why Demonshead is there. It just IS.

THE CUPBOARD OF DOOM and cool small windups. Lots of windups (STORCHES!). And a Kingliger. And a Gustav. Er, yeah. And yes, I do like /Zero, thank you for asking :p. I have Fuzors too, it just won't fit...

The other shelves, which have no theme on one shelf (beyond that half of it is yellow-y) and Empire KEETY on another. Yes, there's a Saicurtis sitting on Battle Cougar, and I don't know why. And there's a HasbroSaix behind Liger Zero Falcon, you just can't see it.

Cruncher and pals...I swear he wants to eat Zairin.

...also not pictured, the ones in the white boxes and a few in England. THEY BREED, I TELL YOU. Or divide. WHATEVER.
